From Greg Wischer at the United States Department of the Interior: “I visited the Reflecting Pool this morning, and pictures are included below of the pool reflecting and the American Flag Blue color.\n \nAs you can tell, many of the photos posted in the New York Times articles were taken after the largest fireworks show in history—which had launch points alongside the pool—deposited significant debris in the pool.\n \nThe Reflecting Pool has been partially refilled to allow National Park Service staff and contractors to flush the pool’s piping system for the first time in more than a decade. After years of neglect by previous administrations, more than half of the 58 water supply ports were so clogged that they were deemed nonfunctioning. This work is ongoing. We waited until after July 4th to do. Coming out great!\n \nThe National Park Service has also, for the second time, cleaned the granite, pressure washed the sidewalk, and removed several hazardous trees next to the Reflecting Pool. Today, we honor the 13 brave American HEROES who were tragically killed five years ago by evil Jihadi terrorists in Kabul, Afghanistan. Additionally, he wants to dethrone a magnificent, Job producing, desperately needed, and brand new, Aluminum Plant that will be one of the best projects ever conceived or built, not only in the Great State of Oklahoma, but in the United States, itself. It will be one of the most successful Job creating Plants ever built in our Country. The group that’s doing it is extraordinarily wealthy and, if they don’t do it in Oklahoma, they have 20 other sites that would love to have them. Our Country needs Aluminum, and the beautiful Town of Inola, Oklahoma (which was very nice to me in all three Elections!), will be the primary beneficiary in terms of Jobs, Lower Taxes, and the funding of Schools. In addition, it helps our Country with regards to National Security — You can’t get Aluminum in the United States, and this Plant will go elsewhere if it’s not approved. Oklahoma can lead the way! Very simply, Mike Mazzei is for this desperately needed Job Producing Aluminum Plant. Drummond, for his own reasons, is not — He even SUED, unsuccessfully, to block it. It’s going to be the Biggest Aluminum Plant in the Country, and it’s all financed and done!
