Biden as a bumbling, gaffe-prone vice president whose statements are both dangerous and ridiculous. He is used primarily as a proxy attack on Obama — if Biden is incompetent, the administration is incompetent. Not yet a serious political threat; more a useful rhetorical prop.

The 2012 VP debate posts are notably analytical — Trump watches Biden closely as a political performer ('Biden's sarcastic smiling may or may not be effective'). The 2015 condolence post on Beau Biden's death is the only genuinely sympathetic moment in the entire dataset. The 2016 'not very bright' and groping-history posts begin the more personal attack register that will dominate later years. The nickname 'Sleepy Joe' does not yet appear.
